Christmas Bird Count for Kids at IBS

Nature Alberta has organized two Christmas Bird Count for Kids events, on Dec 17 and on Jan 14.  All families are welcome!

Christmas Bird Count for Kids December 17th from 12 – 2 p.m at Inglewood Bird Sanctuary. We will meet in the Pickering Room at the IBS Nature Centre where Nature Alberta’s Jerry Gordy will give a presentation/introduction to winter birds and binocular use and what the christmas bird count is. Then we will go out for about 1 hr. and count birds along the trails. This event is being funded by Nature Canada’s NatureHood program, and other sponsors.
