Throughout the year, field trips are organized by the Society and led by knowledgeable, local naturalists. Members prowl for owls in February, admire orchids on the summer solstice, and take bus trips to more distant natural areas. There are also many opportunities to get more involved by volunteering with us.

Nature Calgary has published a number of natural history books, including guides to natural areas of the city.

An annual bus trip takes place in June and a banquet is held in the fall. For details go to the events page.

Natrue Calgary (Calgary Field Naturalists' Society) is a registerd charity. Donations are welcomed and official tax receipts will be issued for amounts over $20.
