March 17, 7:30 pm: Pre-contact plant communities of southern Alberta: Dr. Brian Kooyman of the U of C Department of Archaeology.

April 21, 7:30 pm: The Crown is Slipping. Will it Fall? A clear-eyed look at what's in store for the Waterton-Glacier area. Long-time Rockies naturalist, conservationist and author Ben Gadd will have you alternately chuckling and wringing your hands during this illustrated talk. Ben's insightful and gently provocative thoughts will come as a breath of fresh air. Prepare to hear some things you haven't heard before.
The talk is part geography lesson, part eco-historical analysis and part polemic. Much of it centres on the Rockies and foothills from Banff south, not so far from Calgary. It includes images and graphics, and the last section, which is about how we can save the national parks, has been described as "brilliant."

May 5, 7:30 pm: Montana Birding: John Carlson.

Join us at The Burnswest Theatre, Fort Calgary, 750 - 9 AV SE (printable map) at 7:30pm.
