Kim MacKenzie will be coordinating Nature Alberta’s annual May Plant Count. The May Plant Count provides valuable information on the distribution and phenology of flowering plants in Alberta and takes place annually on the last week of May.
This year’s dates are May 23-29.
Volunteers collect a list of plants in their favorite natural area and record phenology (life stage) information for the flowering species.
Expertise in wildflower identification is valuable, but not mandatory.

New volunteers and returning counters, please email Kim at kim.mack@goldpaw.ca for more information on May Plant Count 2016.
